This could be the worlds longest review as there are so many great things to stay about our stay in the Horizon villa but I will try and keep it short and to the point.
the Villa is situated about a 5 min drive from the harbour and a twenty min walk if you feel fit enough in the hot Kefalonian sun.

The owner of the Villa (Dionisios) told me he had worked in the tourism industry and it really shows. There is absolutely nothing that is spared in the Villa to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and you feel that every attention to detail has been taken care of.
The Villa is very new and has been built, decorated and furnished to such a high standard it really makes you feel its a real home from home.

There are three levels to the villa with a Ensuite bedroom at the top with stunning views from two balcony’s, a common area in the middle with a well equipped Kitchen and ensuite bathroom and the lower level is another bedroom with yet another ensuite and a small kitchen, Gym and TV room.

The outside area is very spacious with a dinning table, A jacuzzi overlooking Aghia Efimia Harbour a soft garden furniture set up with two arm chairs and a small two seater settee and a small pool but big enough for any family looking to have fun an cool down out of the hot sun.

This was our 6th time to Kefalonia and without doubt this has been the best holiday yet. If you are looking for a private luxurious villa with the friendliest owners and placed in a small patch of heaven then you will not be disappointed.

We will be visiting the Horizon Villa again very soon and cant wait to come back to Aghia Efimia

We had a great stay at Horizon Villa . On the hill overlooking Agia Efimia and a wonderful view of the sea. You need a car to get to Agia to sample the restaurants as its a few minutes drive otherwise it's a steep 20-25m descent/ascent which may help burn off some of the calories.

Location is fantastic, easy access to Assos, Myrtos Beach and Fiscardo to the north, Sami and Antisamos Beach and about 50 mins from Argostoli and the airport.

We would recommend Spiros and To Perasma restaurants in Agia. There is also a great bar next do Spiros. Sami supermarkets are better for fruit and veg and it has a great beach at Antisamos. As a tip - order the house wine in the restaurants - it's better than the other wines.

As for the owner, Dionisios...he couldn't be more helpful. He's on site every day to ensure the pool is clean, the garden is tended to (of which he's very proud) and that the necessary sundries (toilet rolls, towels, dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs etc.) are well stocked. During our 2 week stay the house was cleaned twice as were the linens and towels replaced.

We would recommend the villa not just for its location and easy access to a very lovely island full of friendly people but also for its quality and for the wonderful service that Dionisios and Mirka provide.

This villa has the wow factor from top to bottom, all the fixtures and fitting have been tastefully selected to give a clean modern feel that is very welcoming. We were met on arrival by the lovely Dino, who gave us a guided tour and all instruction on how everything works in the villa. Dino came up discreetly to tend the luscious garden and spotless pool am & pm, he was happy to engage in conversation with his exceptional English and gave us some perfect advice on site seeing the beautiful island! With it's great location and stunning views over Agya Effimia, which is just a short drive (or pleasant walk) down to a the friendly harbour with plenty of shops stocked with delicious local produce (Greek yogurt a must) and lots of tavernas to tempt for breakfast, lunch & supper! It's a small Island with good roads making most places accessible with a rental car, we explored lots of local beaches and harbours and would highly recommend Antisamos. We had a fantastic holiday and will most definitely be coming back again to Horizon Villa!
